Wow this is a fantastic roundup filled with great info! Thanks so much for the mention too! I appreciate it a lot. I'll enjoy reading all through this health and wellness tools. ☺️
Love the new name The Antidote. Glad you’ve not been afraid to change it as you’ve grown. Thanks for sharing your journey through the vaccines. A well educated and researched decision and not one made out of fear. It’s the first time I’ve seen it linked to early menopause (vaccines haven’t been my area of research - learning to rebalance my hormones has). Collectively we’ve reduced the average age of perimenopause in a very short period of time (mid to late 40’s to the age of 36 in just over a decade, a decade and a half tops). This will reduce child bearing years and also increases osteoporosis in women, heart disease, etc. in my mind I have imagined there are many varying factors to this (the way we live our lives today, technology, the increase in stress) but I wonder how significant a part the pandemic, lockdowns and vaccines play a part in this? Though the answer to me in my own personal case, has been to research, understand and make changes for the benefit of my hormonal health, learn to rebalance my hormones and thereby greatly improve my physical, mental and emotional health. It’s been a long game but one with big payoffs.
Love reading your work, thanks so much for the mention! 🙏 and time you take to collate and share all this with us xxx
That’s so interesting, Amber. Is there a way to impact female hormones? I didn’t know. I did listen to Andrew Huberman’s podcast with the woman doctor whose name I can’t recall, and it was very informative. I’ll try to find it. I’ve definitely heard from women whose periods got way heavier/worse after they had either the C-19 virus or vaccines.
I guess the answer to that question depends who you ask. To me, we’re impacting them all the time. In the way we live our lives, how we work, the increase in pressure/stress, what we eat, the chemicals in our homes/foods/products, the list goes on. The book “balance your hormones, balance your life” was recommended to me at a time where I was already on a mission to heal the crap out of myself. It’s written by a doctor who comes at it with a balance between the western and eastern approach. She says it takes years to rebalance your hormones. I can testify that this in indeed true. Has it been worth it? When I look at my health today vs medical opinions on the subject matter, for me, it’s a resounding yes.
Thanks so much for the YouTube recommendation 🙏 the interview totally aligns with with what in was saying above re hormonal
Imbalance and what’s creating it. I love that she mentioned being a woman is a health hazard fuelled by rage and patriarchy. I wrote a blog recently on Friday 13th: celebration or superstition? Detailing my theory behind chronic illness being so prevalent in women. I feel like she connects with that herself. Got the rest to listen to but wanted to say thanks for sharing.
Awesome - glad you’re getting something out of it. I found it pretty mind-blowing and I think I heard him say in an interview that it’s one of his most watched episodes.
Getting so much from it - I’m gripped! 1.5 million views - I’m going to add it to the comment section of Friday 13th blog so I can keep a record of it too. Been told before that there’s no evidence to what I’ve done so at least I have something like this to share next time that happens.
You’re welcome. heads up: it’s a big read. A complex subject. She takes the deeply complex and simplifies it. But it can still be overwhelming. I think the sheer shock of how imbalanced our lives are right now to what it takes to achieve balance can Instill fear, overwhelm. I would never previously have described myself as particularly intelligent, but for me, I’ve loved taking the complexity of the worlds most complex neurological disorder and the complexity of hormones and creating life changing health transformation on the back of it. Something that I believe is possible for us all. Yet there is a need to simplify all this further so that we can all more easily access this overwhelm of information. Something I hope to be able to help with in my own writing and sharing of my own story 🙏
Loving the rebrand. And the kitties 🥹😍
Thank you 😘
