Hope this comment finds you doing well, not a fun thing thing. I'm sure you have heard about vaccination in some cases help symptoms. Here's the latest paper.
I saw that article this morning myself. Unfortunately the three shots I had did nothing to improve my symptoms. Most long haulers I know did not get any relief from the vaccines.
I know two people who have gotten a lot more functional on IVIG, one with long Covid and the other with pre-Covid ME. I’m thrilled that you got it approved and I really really really hope it helps you!
Nice, IVIG is a bit old school. Started out as IM injections in the 19th Century. Best of luck to you! Check out my substack on PASC including the latest one.
Excited for you!!! I do SCIG every week for autoimmune-driven POTS & MCAS & neuropathy, and it greatly reduces my pain and helps with my fatigue, especially my cognitive fatigue. If you end up having side effects from IVIG, it might be possible to switch to the subcutaneous version like me 😊 as for tips for the IV version, I’ve heard that running a bag of saline beforehand, premedicating with Tylenol and/or antihistamines, and running the infusion very slowly (sometimes even over several days if possible) can help with comfort. Good luck! I hope this changes your life for the better ❤️
Thank you for letting me know about SCIG; I had been wondering what that stood for, and now I've figured it out 🤓. They told me today that my doc ordered tylenol and benadryl to arrive with the package tomorrow, so I'm definitely premedicating. Drinking lots of fluids tonight and tomorrow too. Thanks for letting me know what to expect!

I have concluded that PASC does not have a single solution.

Ha, I also discussed that STAT article in my post yesterday.
Thank you - will do!
Sounds promising! Holding the intention that you'll receive all the benefits and experience none of the side effects!
Ooh, thank you!! 🤗
