That's literally in my bio - laugh till it hurts while healing

I have to say that I laughed more than I was pissed at Arnold. Something in me feels like he's meant to be your nurse; glad you're sticking with him, at least for next time.

I kinda want to punch Arnold right in the kisser, but thanks for making me giggle. Hope you're feeling the benefits of the treatment! XO

In reading this I am more and more convinced we are best friends who’ve just never met until now. Snark level ✔️ atheist lefty with tattoos ✔️ not here for your sh*t ✔️✔️✔️.

I hope you continue to limited side effects and hopefully even some relief.

Getting PTSD from this Arnold interaction as it reminds me of attempting to help a male boomer neighbor with his post-“hurricane” yard. Let’s just say when he called me “groomed” I realized my folly. At least Arnold seems... to care for you, in his own way? I read this at the gym in between sets and laughed audibly in a probably quiet room, oblivious with my headphones on. I hope the goblins fill you with healing non-denominational energy.

Groomed? YIKES. Just WHY? Why do they have to comment on our corpus in any way?!

I think Arnold is essentially harmless. But the way he weaves in and out of likability and offensiveness definitely wreaks of privilege.

I really enjoyed this post Amy! I felt like we were sitting at lunch at MSP and you were telling us about your funny, frustrating encounter with this guy Arnold 🤣 You really know how to paint a picture! And I feel cautiously optimistic that this treatment will help you. 😘

Ha! Thanks for this feedback, Paula. That is the exact kind of scenario I want my storytelling to evoke! Those were some fun lunches ☺️

And good luck with the treatment, too (you can’t seem to edit comments?) I hope it works out great

I know, that is a frustration of mine too in Substack!

You might be interested to know that my orthopedic injections guy said there might be something more systemic going on with long haulers getting frozen shoulder, especially if you’ve emerged diabetic or pre-diabetic like I have. Something about the metabolic changes. I have high cholesterol too. None of this is diet related in my case.

Yes to doing the shoulder stretches if you have long covid! I have been in good recovery for 6 months now -but the frozen shoulder still lingers on

Seems like Arnold merely believes that love is corrective. Go easy on him. 😆
